Therapy for Individuals
We have formed many partnerships to help young people achieve tremendous changes in their lives through mentoring, including:
- Football Association referee level 7 and coaching level 1
- Asdan awards and peer mentoring
- Door Supervision courses
- Community Sports Leaders award level 1 and 2
- Sports Leaders level 1
- There are many other positive outcomes that our mentoring can contribute towards:
- Joining local sports teams & clubs
- Having the confidence to learn a new skill
- Gaining confidence and self-belief
- Learning how to respect themselves as well as others
- Improving behaviours in school/neighbourhood which prevents possible court action or prison
- Developing a better relationship with their family and peers
- Returning to school
- Improving diets and lifestyles
Therapy for Families
We have many years of experience working with young people and their families within the East Midlands. There is a wide variety of issues we have helped people with including, gang warfare, drug use and selling, weapon issues, mental health illnesses, bullying, weight issues, negative family environments such as parents splitting, domestic violence, alcohol.
Whether these issues are short or long term, our mentoring has helped to achieve positive outcomes where people can enjoy a better quality of life.
How we can help
We use sport to help gain a trusted relationship between the young person and/or their families, to help them open up and assist them in developing their own solutions and insights to which we hope will lead to a positive outcome.
